About The Summit
The Grad School Success Summit was created for scholars of color transitioning to graduate school in the fall. Whether you are transitioning from undergrad into a graduate program, the workforce, or finishing a Masters degree and starting a Ph.D., this event is centered around providing the fundamental skills and knowledge you need for a successful first year.
Usually, students spend their first year acclimating to the new environment. A lot of time is wasted in the first year trying to figure out what is expected of you, trying to figure out a school-life balance, and learning new, yet basic skills. We’ve boiled down these basics into workshops and presentations to be shared over these three-days.
You can spend less time figuring things out and more time getting things done your first year.
